Bennett Division
HMS Fisgard - West Side
Bennett division was one of the original four divisions set up during an overhaul of Fisgard's divisional system in 1966 and named after Rear Admiral C.R.P. Bennett O.B.E, who joined the Royal Navy as a Boy Apprentice in 1912. The division was also one of the first casualties of Fisgard's closure.
Due to the falling number of apprentices in training at Fisgard, the division was closed down at the end of the spring term 1983, and its apprentices were divided up between the two remaining west side divisions, Griffin and Spickernell.
